RainBox™ is AgriWater's cutting-edge water treatment technology that mimics natural rainwater by generating energetic hydroxyl radicals through the RainBox Advanced Oxidation Process R-AOP. These radicals are formed in pressurised, flowing water via the reaction of photon energy-loaded oxygen with hydrogen peroxide, which acts as a catalyst for the R-AOP reactions. At discharge, the reactants of the R-AOP break down into oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water. The interaction of the R-AOP reactions with the water—along with the resulting by-products—boosts soil health, improves irrigation efficiency, and enables increased crop yields.

What is the RainBox?
What's in the Box
The RainBox™ system is designed for easy installation and maintenance. It includes a range of components that work together to deliver optimal water treatment results.
Each RainBox™ unit uses UV lamps to generate ozone, which is drawn into the water stream through a venturi injector. Hydrogen peroxide is added to enhance the Oxydation Process into Advanced Oxidation Process R-AOP, creating powerful hydroxyl radicals that improve water quality and soil health. The system includes a control panel for easy operation and sensors to monitor performance.
The RainBox™ system is designed to be user-friendly, with a simple interface, and mobile app, that allows farmers to easily adjust settings and monitor performance. The system is also equipped with sensors that provide real-time data on water treatment and system performance, allowing for proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
With its compact design and user-friendly interface, the RainBox™ system is suitable for a variety of agricultural applications, from small farms to large-scale operations.
Below you will see the RainBox™ system along with the RainBot™ Peroxide system that is used to inject the H2O2 into the water stream. The RainBot system is a separate unit that can be used in conjunction with the RainBox™ system to provide the R-AOP capabilities.
Real Results
Farmers using RainBox™ have reported significant improvements in soil health and crop yields. The system's unique R-AOP technology enhances water quality, leading to better irrigation efficiency and healthier plants.
RainBox™ has been successfully implemented in various regions, demonstrating its versatility and effectiveness in different soil, climate and crop types.
In a recent study, farmers observed no more standing water in the treated fields, indicating improved drainage and soil structure. The results were evident in the field, with crops thriving in previously challenging conditions.
Below you will see comparison images of Control and Treated fields, notice the standing water in the Control field and the lack of it in the Treated field.

Treated Field - Improved drainage
Proven Around the World
With over 3,000 units installed globally, RainBox™ is trusted by farmers across USA, Canada, Zambia, South Africa, Australia, and beyond.
Before vs After RainBox™
Transforming common irrigation challenges into competitive advantages through Advanced Oxidation.
Weekly filter cleaning and monthly dripper maintenance due to organic build-up and mineral scaling.
Extended 2-month maintenance intervals as R-AOP reactions actively dissolve biofilm and prevent scaling.
Foliar and soil-applied minerals get "tied up" in complex soil bonds, becoming unavailable to the plant.
Treated water promotes mineral mobility, unlocking bonded nutrients and significantly boosting uptake efficiency.
Extreme temperatures and irrigation fluctuations cause prolonged plant stress, reducing overall yields.
Plants rebound faster from temperature and irrigation extremes.
Inefficient water infiltration and fertilizer run-off lead to higher operational costs and environmental impact.
Increased water bioavailability ensures every drop and nutrient dollar works harder for your bottom line.
